I have a 25hp Johnson that won’t go full throttle. It is able to idle but when I give it some gas it bogs downs. Has anyone expierenced something like this?Any ideas on what to do?
I had that problem once, the fuel pump diaphram was ripped and wouldn’t pump enough fuel, does it go to high RPM when out of the water? If it does that can be indicative of a lean condition, like dirty carbs or again faulty fuel pump. If you have a hand prime, you can try to force fuel into the bowls/ carbs and see if that effects top end. If you have fuel injected I would make sure your air in take is clear.
