26 July

Hey y’all… there’s a bunch of us over on SCKF that are planning a huge meet and fish at the Ville on the 26th of July. For any of y’all new to yakking or wanting to try it out let me know asap so we can see if we can’t find a yak for ya to borrow… The tides look like:

26th: Low at 8:19 ( -.1) high at 3:06PM ( 5.8)

If we launched right at sunrise we should have enough water to float out of the creek and get to the back of the ville and just work up to the grass as the tide comes in…

Post up here if ya wanna join in or shoot me an e-mail at

lookin forward to seein ya all there!

So, technically I will be there too!

You all have fun, if I didn’t already have my trip planned and paid for, I would be making it 18.

I’m in…</font id=“blue”>

I will be there for sure.

14’ Pamlico 140 Angler w/ rudder
Switching to lead-free tackle.

I will be there. I am matthewhogan on sckayakfishing. I was just wondering what type of artificial baits to bring or would it be better if I got some live bait.

This time of year live bait IMO. Mud Minnows and live shrimp.

If you have a cast net, should be plenty of finger mullet there at low tide.

Looks like I’ll be there…

Troy, good luck over on the other side! Would like to here how it went!

With the group going, and the number of cameras and video recorders, I suspect the story this year will be even better than last year…By a factor of 6…

Especially since I am going to spend the second week targetting Pike, Lake Trout, Inconnu, Grayling, Rainbows and other frsh water species.

The first week will be Halibut, Lingcod, Rockfish and several species of Salmon, plus of the scenery…

Oh, and we will hae one 30 year old bottle of Dark Rum, and several bottle of French Hard Cider to enjoy while at the cabin!

being that i live across the street i thought that i would sit this one out and sleep in:smiley:

are you kidding? i’ll be the first one out. that pluff mudd in that creek is going to be 2 feet deeper due to the stampede that’s coming through there. i want to be in front of that. also want to get out while there is water in the creek. Roxy is getting heavy. she’s a real bit*h to tow down a creek with no water

get it? bit*h:smiley:
