27Aug Mako behind the boat....

Left the ramp with the full moon off to the right & sun easing up.
We had the obligatory downpour to deal with @ the weather buoy and the clouds seem to swing by often enough to keep us from frying too badly.

Trolling 3 lines - ran thru the ballyhoo, went to bellystrips and Yozuris. Got 2 nice wahoo and close to every barracuda in the Atlantic.

Got a shout-out from Charles or Chris (my ears suk & memory ain’t far behind) on the Funny Business: They were in the area & all done high-speeding for wahoo. Gave me the chance to get a nice Mako behind the boat. We had her there for an hour or so. Like all good things though, had to give her up. If we had stayed buttoned up we would have been getting back in close to dark!
Hope you guys made it back ok. Forgot to get a few pictures of that. Dang it Jim, I’m an engineer not a photographer.

Also did a little of this to remind Justin what it feels like to work.

Think we picked up that mako from y’all. Yeah it was WELL after dark before we got in.

Good deal Dave, nice way to wrap up this trip home. Maybe you catch something cool behind your “big boat”.
