Went to ledge solo, tough day there waves were @ 2 feet at 3 seconds not 10 seconds as predicted. Many short strikes, ended up with 4 Barracuda and 1 Maui. Not many weed lines just a few patches of weeks starting at 130 feet out to Area 12 and beyond, along with flying fish. The Maui I caught had 2 Flying fish in its stomach.
The colors for the day were green & yellow for sure,. 
This might help…wave heights and the all important timing. keep in mind this is for only one offshore position.

Sorry you had a rough go of it, looked like a weird window that popped up Monday night and saw the forecasted 2 @10 or 12. Bouy data around 12:00pm was showing 1.6 at 12, then it jumped quickly back to 2 @ 4.

I’m not sure where this came from almost looks like an old oil stick. I took a drilled a small hole in the tip big enough to fit 98 lbm wire and 200 lbm mono.
