rolled out aboard no limit with capt.marvin, ben and realfish01. a little rough with the NE wind but doable! diving was as good as it gets with the viz 50’ and no current. realfish01 on our frist dive produced a couple of good grouper and we passed up a ton of 15/18 lb ars thinking larger fish. second set of divers put a nice scamp @ 14lbs in the boat, some very skiddish ars seen but no shots. realfish01(grasshopper) took the master to school today bagging two nice reds on his next dive. we all did 3, 100’ dives fri and put some very nice fish in the boat working hard for the fish we got.
rolled out again today aboard the Dara Lynn with jordan, ben and eric to try again. frist dive produced a few small reds but nothing speical.next dive jordan saved my ass when a squadron of cobia came by me and I shot my personel best with a speargun @50lbs, gutted!
had a great 2 days on the water with awesome viz @ 50+ on most dives.
It was a great day. Don’t forget the rest of the pictures… The ones with the octopus are from my Friday trip.
Flat calm on Sat. You could see the divers bubbles from 100 yards away.
One more picture. I think the octopus was trying to tell us to dive again and put him back. Smart little buggers.
Awesome friggin time everyone. Lets get out there and do it again! (**() that cobia was a fight but I loved every minute of it. We still need to find out where their brain is so we can save us some struggle.
My advice is my opinion only. I may have gotten that opinion from something I read while sitting on the toilet. Please keep that in mind when reading my posts, the information may not be correct.
What happens if you are hook and line fishing two of you on the boat. Your corner is getting all the action you bring in your first ars and then another while your partner gets nothing… Are you going to throw one back even though you are completely within the regs? No different with spearfishing
come in right, with your boat limit, and I’m sure you will be OK! DNR has better things to do. besides, my post name and the boats I fish on are not related!

That's right. It's exactly the same. You keep quiet about it and nobody knows the better.
Notice Marsha did not say “wouldn’t have kept that fish if I were you”… What she said was “wouldn’t have made that POST if I were you”…
Let’s have a moment of silence and just think about that for a second…
Sometimes it is wise to stay under the radar, especially when the sport you love is constantly under attack…
