Made it out at little before high tide yesterday. Fished some small grass flats before JI Yacht Club and Plumb Island. Plenty of reds to sight fish too. Spooky, but got one to bite! Fought it for a few second and once he got to the boat, took off under the boat leaving the spool screaming and broke off! O well still a blast. Used a weed less hook with Zman jerk shad scented blue and silver. Pitched it right in front of him and didn’t touch it he swam right to it and picked it up! Such a rush!
None in the boat, but plenty of fish out there!
(**() mosquitos are out too!
Nice work!
God Bless,
Capt Buddy Bizzell
Being on the water is a blessing, catching fish is a bonus!
“Come follow me.” Jesus said “I will make you a fisher of men.”

I don’t fish where you indicated b/c I have much better spots, but you really shouldn’t give out locations to a bunch of strangers on the internet. Finding a productive area is something to be earned, not given out to a bunch of strangers over the internet. A lot of you youngsters just don’t get it.

Keep your lines tight and remember. Respect the fish and your fellow fisherman. Know the Code.
If you dont see folks fishing that group of flats almost everyday, you live in Mt Pleasent…

First rule of fishing. If you see someone fishing there when they leave try it out. Oops there goes your secret spot.
A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.
