Extremely windy and very cold morning run up the Wando. After we thawed out, 5 of us were hitting every target in the creek with artificials (gulp and others). Managed a couple of trout in the middle of the creek, 3 went back and 2 went on ice. Caught one small red off a dock piling on gulp.
We left just as the wind was letting up (had a 2pm curfew) and hit one last spot that gave up the 14" flounder to complete the slam.
5 guys constantly casting for 4 hours = 7 fish. Lots of work but it paid off at the end of the day.
I got on the water just as you were getting off, and the bite was very good. You still did well to complete the slam! Heard reports from Saturday that seemed just like you experienced. Lots of casting for just a few fish. Enough of the cold and wind I say!!!

Nice. I couldn’t talk myself into fishing in the wind and cold this weekend. It’s gonna be a couple more weeks before I can get out.
