I’m looking at a few boats with the big block hpdi’s. i know they have a tendancy to go “boom”, but i was wondering what the difference is between the older hpdi’s and the newer “series 2” hpdi’s.

and can you get updates (computer or otherwise) to make an older hpdi into a “series 2” hpdi?

not sure about teh 2008 and up, but anything older than that, bigblock bad, very bad
