Went out with some longtime friends of mine on their new 23 Sea Hunt. Decent ride straight out. Trolled around the commanche area in the early am and caught a few kings and 23 Sailfish daymaker 4 pound dolphin. No groceries for the gloo today which was probably a good thing seeing as how they only brought 1 20LB bag of ice for the trip. Tried a little bottom fishing but could not get away from the Sharpnose sharks. Still lots to learn but it was a good day in our books since we caught fish and made it back home before 3pm.
He took the bait like a jugbelly redfish on an olive and white clouser.
It’s always a good day if you make it back,good job.

good job keeping the rods bent. those sharks follow you around. let me know when we are going to grill up one of those blacktips.
if he is interested in those international 30t reels, he can have both of them with rods for $500. the reels work great and the rods are heavily used, but they will work.
