Same guy that did the grouper in his 16’ boat out of lower Fl. The Gulf Stream is close there, still just not right in the head.

Oh, Lynn, I KNOW I CAN do it…Just wouldn’t…Look at that boat, I wouldn’t take it past the jetties! Once made for Freshwater, all made for freshwater…BUT if I remember correctly, Phin or someone like that told me that my Trophy was only made for freshwater and should never be used in Salt…14 years, never been stranded and had to call CG, and still running strong. Did have steering cable snap 25 miles out of Little River…Tied gaff and net together, strapped around engine really tight, put the GPS on home and followed the arrow…1 person steered it like a jon boat engine sitting on back cushion, 1 person sat up front as watchman…This was well before my captaining time…Just an innocent by-stander! Had plenty of oh-chit moments in my young times though…Just glad I wasn’t in charge!
