Can you properly identify a shark by the teeth? I thought for sure Gotcha would be in one this action with all of his shark teeth collecting and whatnot.

I’d love to see some sort of chart if you guys have access to one.

Was that yours?

We just threw that stuff away. Charles said he could get you to “just buy some more later.”

Looks like you guys had a great day on Saturday.
Just think, whoever catches you biteoff will be surprised when they open it’s belly to find it stuffed with rubber squid.

here’s a link to help ID the shark and test your memory for details.

From what I’ve looked at, it does resemble a silky shark. The video gives a little better idea of the shape of the shark.

I vote for a silky. Kill the sound or you’re gonna pizz off the pier guys again.

Thanks for the invite, don’t know when I can accept, but I certainly appreciate the offer. BTW, The yak guys are seriously talking about near shore reef in late May or early June.:sunglasses:

So much water, So little time

I didn’t even pay attention to the sound. It’s kind of a reoccuring joke at this point. Really has nothing to do with them anymore.

I am down for May sometime. Give me a shout. Even if no one wants to do the nearshore reef thing, an inshore yak tourney wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Either way, I’m glad to help out.

Sounds good. You’ve got my regular e-mail address so I’m always a crackberry away.

If you’re in a mood to try yak fishin I’ve got about 3 extras at my house right now because a buddy lost his storage space. choices are wood, girly purple or manly green. He wants me to use them as much possible until I sell them for him.

Here are the pics from our camera combined with the ones that were taken by Ricky. Great trip!

nice collection of fish there. looks like you had another shark eat your bird. it was not a wahoo. it is possible that it was a large cuda, but most likely a shark.

I was thinking baracuda maybe too, but a shark is just as likely. Seems like we would have seen it if it was a shark. Oh well.

My crew still wants to believe 80lb hoo, so I’m just gonna let them have this one…
