3D Printed Hand

I thought I would share a project I completed last year working with an organization called e-Nable. The organization is a group of open source engineers working together to provide prosthetic devices for the disabled. My first assignment was with a teacher in Texas assisting with the design and printing of a hand for a 12 year girl. The effort took about 4 weeks from start to finish. I designed the hand and the students printed the hand with their donated 3D printer. This is the kind of stuff I love to get involved with and I learn more about engineering in the process.
