4/10/13 Bait and Trout

Man, I am getting excited about Spring fishing. Bait is everywhere!!! A couple of cast net tosses and we had a live well full of 4" -5" Menhaden. Went out around 12:30 yesterday, falling tide and found some trout and lost some “unknowns” down deep. Water temp 65 degrees in the creeek!!! Can’t wait for this spring. Best trout of the day below, 16.5" caught with DOA under a cork.

Funny thing… Didn’t see another boat the entire day! You guys don’t get Wednesdays off or something?

As far as the unknowns, felt the fish, down deep, couldn’t get a hook set.

Thanks Penny! It has taken me years of practice to get my hair to look like that on the boat!
