left the dock at 530, headed straight for the 226 hole, weeds at 300’ so we dropped lines and worked them a bit with no luck, headed out to 800’ and got on another weed line, picked up a slinger and a gaffer then nothing for a while, picked up to run out farther to where the sst charts showed the warm water and came up on another weed line in 1350’ dropped lines, picked up 2 more gaffers and a lot of action, lost 5 more with an inexperienced crew(The wife and 3 kids). worked my but off keeping weeds off the baits. The up side is now my other half has learned how to navigate the weed lines and the youngest caught his first Mahi. He’s ready to go back, gotta love it!
Nice to hear that you have the whole family involved.
You were way out there on a calm day.
We went outside the Deli and then south to outside the triple ledge.
I think we got there to late.
