Ran out of Edisto and fished the Deli Saturday. Ride out was not bad till we got about ten miles from the Deli we ran into a rain cloud and the sea got real snotty. So much for 2-5 seemed like 5-8. Lines in at seven. Caught six right off then decided to go deeper bad decision no dolphin and to our disappointment lost a hoo at the boat. Headed back in and caught a hoo along with four more dolphin. To finish the day off when we were taking in the lines a dolphin hit the line number eleven in the boat.
Fished in the bad seas till around one o’clock. Ended up with a nice Hoo and eleven Mahi 10 gaffers and one slinger. Ride home was not to bad. Great day other than the sea conditions.
