Fished again last evening. got out there a little before 6 and fished till 9. caught a lot of nice fish. again free lined herring and planer boards. I was running .5-.8 and seemed to get bigger fish faster i went. Took a friend and his two sons, first time on the stripers for them and they are hooked. bait is everywhere and Richard has some nice big herring that were strong. first double and triple hook up this summer. I left them biting at 9 last night. kept four over 24" probably got 20 or so to the boat, biggest was 25 smallest was smalllllll. Taking some guys out tonight, so i’ll let you know how we end up.
