4/18 trout report

I left home at 6am and got home at 8pm. Started off on the West Fork East of Rosman. Water was up and tinted. Lost more than I caught. Next stop was the Tuck S of Sylva. Light Cahill (?) hatch strong the whole time I was fishing. Kinda tough getting them to hit your bug when there are 20-30 real ones in the vicinity. Again, lost more than I caught. This time I just couldn’t get the timing right on the strikes. Left there and went up to fish the luftee W of Cherokee. Only fish were rainbows on woolly buggers. All in all a great day and I was one tired puppy last night. Went to sleep on the couch and the dog went hungry. Going to the Chatooga overnight next week. Anyone else fishing?
