Hey Guys, new here. Striper skiff, tried to hit you up on ch 68 the other night, no joy. Heading out sat. morning and trying sat night if whether permits. Any suggestions on spots/times.

ReelFinAddict - I was out yesterday morning. Marked fish and had a few bites fishing in 25 to 30 foot water in front of the Coast Guard station behind Susie Elbert Island. I was trolling white bucktails with green twister tails. I probably would have done well with live bait if I had bothered to buy some.
I monitor 68-69-71-72 while I’m out on Murray.

RFA, sorry never heard you…I’ll be out there Sat am too…got a little tournament going with some friends and we’ll be on an off channel, but I’ll be scanning CH 68 too…
wouldn’t know it by me, but from talking to others who’ve been getting out there it sounds like the am has been really hot pulling free lines around points or fishing cut bait in 25-30 ft…keep a topwater bait ready too…caught a few pulling free lines last evening and ran into some schooling fish

Thanks. Caught him on trolling gear(urigs) The greens just come up and the fights over. Wish I would have gotten her on lighter tackle.
