4/19 stono inlet area

Got out early but not early enough apparently. Tide was higher than I had liked (oh yeah… guess I forgot about the “flash flood” warnings). Ah well. Squeezed into a creek I like and was able to pull out a 27 incher that made the drag scream. Great great fight… then flipper and all of his friends showed up. Ended up getting one more little 15 incher right before slack tide. Pretty much higher waters without a flats boat forces me to force all sorts of structure that may protect reds from flipper this time of year. Strategy worked again for me. Only used cut mullet on the bottom. Wind (at times) was too much of a pain in the butt for anything else; however, it sure as heck wasn’t too bad out there (better than what the weather called for last night). Peaceful out there.
