Got to upper wando with 30 minutes to high to mainly fish the falling tide. As I expected not much worked for 1 hour until the falling started. I let the wind push the flats boat around in skinny water. I saw about 20-30 redfish cursing the flats. None of them were tailing but cruising. Most of them were solo, and holding in any place there was a deeper hole or creek in 3’ to 5’ of water. I ended up with 13 on the flats. Once the tide pushed me of the flats,I moved to any creek flowing to the river.I caught 8 trout, 3 over 20" was good to see, and another 7 redfish. On the flats all fish were caught with 1/16 weighted weedless swimbait hooks and 4" plastic grub color in sliver/metallic flake. Used 6" rapala jerkbait on river, doa shrimp without cork white/chartreuse tail, and 1/8 oz trout eye jig with red/gold flake jerk. It’s about on ladies and gents, good luck
Heck of a good day

I catch myself cursing the flats time to time as well…lol… But for real, definitely sounds like a great day! Well done
I need to go fishing soon or I’m going to go bonkers
