Fished the last of the incoming and most of the outgoing. The wind made things difficult and limited me to soaking bait instead of throwing artificials. Picked up a trout and a flounder on the incoming working some flats.
On the outgoing picked up about 12 reds, biggest being 25”. Trick was finding protected water to effectively set up in. Fished seemed to prefer deeper water docks holding tight to the down current side. The difference between a quick strike and nothing was as little as 15 feet. Fish seemed to prefer shrimp over mud minnows, all fish had the blue tails.
Action was quick then would die. When it died moving a few docks down current found the fish again.
