We put in around 7AM Saturday at Wappoo landing, and hit up some spots in the Ashley River for a few hours. We caught 5 reds all on live minnows and shrimp, then decided to run across the harbor to the Wando for a few hours to fish. Ended up catching two more good size trout to end the day. We’ve been fishing artificial’s and not having much luck, so we decided to switch back to live bait to make sure we know how to still catch fish.
Some of our friends were having lunch and drinks at Tavern and Table, so we ended up running into shem creek to have drinks and lunch with them, then took a slow ride back through the harbor to get back to Wappoo landing.
