Left the hill at 9 and headed north out of harbor. Missed on two early screamers and then slow while making way north. Once turned back south and into wind, the trolling kite was deployed which immediatly paid off with a 33lb blackfin brute. Beautiful kite bite set up perfectly by crew. Landed 3 more conventional style and called it a day around 6:30. All action between 160’ and 200’.
Nice reprt. I like the idea of sleeping in and catching fish.

It’s just much easier on the constitution sleeping in, you can see what you’re running into, and the afternoon bite is nice once all the traffic has left the hole.
Enjoyed the trip, ready for another round. Wish we had known it was really going to lay out so nice so we could have tried to head deep for a sword after sunset.
Congratulations and thanks for the Tuna
