Fished the AM today
Caught some quality fish in two spots at two different tide stages and it was very slow in between. Had about 10 trout and no reds. Most of the trout were nice size. 16, 16, 17, 17.5, 18.5 & 19.25(below).
The 18.5 took two drag pulling runs and I thought it was a real gator. It was very fat with eggs the fattest I’ve ever seen a trout. Released her.
Used a prototype Zman color paddler, a jig that I tied some craft fur on, and my suspending lure

Sorry I missed it…
A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.
Good job, Op. Keep up the good work!

My biggest worry is that my wife (when I’m dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
