We ended up going 3/3 on the dolphin, 1/1 on the king, had a billfish slap the starboard rigger dropped back, he took it for a second then spit it. All this in 300-330ft, pushed in to 200ft and hooked up on a hoo on wtfb line with mono, every bit of 75-80lbs, he dumped the 50 gained back about 300yds and a shark bit off clean behind the peck fins. Whats left is about 30lbs and 3ft long. Not a bad first trip for the new boat. . .
We heard you guys talking about that on the radio. That really sucks. Still great action for April. There were lots of sharks roaming the surface on Saturday. Get 'em next time.
