I usually avoid Charleston Harbor like the plague on the weekends. Too many morons at the boat ramp. We got an early enough start to avoid the weekend warriors at Remley’s. Hit the jetties right at high tide and fished the outgoing for 2 hours. Caught 3 shark, all on live mullet with perfect hooksets. Released. I let my brother-in-law have all the glory since he doesn’t get to fish too often in Charleston.
Fished sheep on fiddlers with no joy.
Back at the boat ramp, some jack-arse parked his boat inside the mooring while we were backing in the trailer. Guy was baffled when we asked him to move so we can put our boat on the trailer. Blows my mind that people can’t figure out boat ramp etiquette.
Found a wallet floating at the ramp. Delivered it to the owner, he was a happy camper! Hoping good karma pays off tomorrow at the jetties!
