4/29 Father/Son Day

Headed out towards the 226 hole, but never made it that far. Due to late start arrived at 9:15 to the parade on 300ft weed line. All radio traffic indicated we missed it and by Eleven, all but a few were gone, so we stayed. Lost first two to rubbery hooks, then at 12:45 steady action began. Caught a small blackfin and 7 dolphin, with one weighing 28lbs on a boca grip, 5 more rsepectable fish and 1 slinger. Last one followed our baits up as we packed up to head home, and we left more down under the boat that would not be enticed. Ride home was great. Passed a few school of sting rays on the way in. They were about 10 miles out and arranged in perfect formation, just below the surface. It was a first for me. I have to also thank the guys at West Marine on Rivers Ave. I was doing last minute checks the night before and found one of my trim tab switches not working. Called them to see if they had one and when they closed. They said yes and twenty minutes ago. They stayed open and waited for me to get there from Summerville. I really appreciate it guys. Thanks for service above and beyond.
