Fished straight out on a 130 heading. Slow for the first hour or two then caught a few fish off a rip with patch weeds in 250’. Had a couple of awesome bait & switch teaser bites.

Had a friend call me out to a weedline in 500’, but when I got there all of Charleston was fishing it. Think we got two bites off it and caught one fish.

Came back in shallow looking for wahoo/blackfin but not happening. Caught a few more smaller dolphin and headed back. Ended the day with 10 dolphin, had a few spit the hooks after going airborne.

Thanks phin. Forgot to mention, we also saw some large sailfish flopping around. We didn’t get a bite, but good to see. Sounds like the billfish are really moving in now.

No worries bud. No hooks in the leg, no wahoo bites to the foot…good stuff. Killing me I can’t fish this upcoming wknd, let’s get out there the following wknd.
