put in about 2hrs before low tide and paddled up to the docks south of breach inlet. I fished almost every dock and only boated one flounder 13". Had another bigger flounder and, what I think,a 30+ red on, that broke off. Fishing with grub and a twist, under the docks.

What about the sand nats? I’m looking forward to trying out kayak fishing for the first time. Are they worse from a yak?
Don’t forget the deet. No matter what your riding in, it can be a miserable short fishin trip without.
Fished the flats on the Wando River Sunday morning. The tide was high but the wind kept it from coming in as high as it should have been. Saw about 6 red drum tailing and caught one 22.5 inches, 4.5 lbs. Ready for some good high tides and a lot of action.
