what type of fly line were you using? i tried throwing the fly over the weekend (white clouser), but had no luck. did manage a few on free-lined herring. Also, how were you fishing the grub from you previous post?
Clear intermediate(Wulff Monoclear) with floro leader(20#). For deeper I use Rio Striper. Scotty has em over at the shop.

Tying stuff and Rio Outbound Short lines from Lowcountry Flyshop(call em and they’ll ship) and Sportsman’s for bucktail, kinda selective so I like to put my hands on. Not sure if they have the Wulff monoclear lines, but a clear full or sink tip line is nice.
Charleston Angler has the goods as well.
