4-9-11 afternoon bite

Left the Harbor headed North at Noon for the afternoon bite with with West wind behind us for smooth ride out. Wind shifted to the east once past weather buoy. Caught 6 blackfin and lost one head shakin unknown. Headed back about 6:30pm with east wind at stern. Hot color blue and black. All fish hit between 160’ and 220’ in about 68 degree water. Good times.

Is the afternoon bite offshore better than the morning bite this early in the season?

CUZ

Who crewed the house?

Sunset probably as good as sunrise. Afternoon better on this old body if no storms kicking up. Chum, had Mr. Swamp Angel running lines, and his buddy, Robert chumming off the side with Willie Nelson on the radio.

nice catch, fish always bite better out there with some old country on the radio!
