Got a Lil late start. Headead north toward Bubble Rock. Didn’t see a boat the whole way on a nice ocean. Pulled up in 150 foot 72 degrees with the rest of the fleet. Must have gotten the same report as me. First fish was a wahoo on down rod. Screamed a 50. After 20-30 min fight he pulled loose will handlining in trolling weight. Lost a couple more fish. Finally got the skunk off with a bonita. Played with them for a while. Finally put some meat in the box. Good action from 12-3. Ended up with 3 dolphin (small 8-10 lbs) countless bonitas. Fished from 150-600 72-74 degrees. All fish were caught from 150-200. Dolphin should be here in next week or so. Fun day on a beautiful ocean.
Thank you for the report. Still a touch early it seems, but it should be on fire any day now!!

Where did you fish out of?
Craig, I fished on a friends boat out of Isle of Palms. Makes for a lot shorter run when heading north but (**() that traffic trying to get back to Lexington. I will take Edisto any day.
