plenty of boats out there, managed 1 nice hoo and lost 2 others including a stud. Scattered dolphin being caught.
I listened to people on the vhf getting their lines run over- yall pay attention and give other boats some room

We really have some inconsiderate captain’s out there. We had to move away from
The crowd twice! My grand father carried a spinning rod with a huge treble hook just for that problem!

That’s why I’m glad I have a job that lets me fish on the weekdays. Sometimes run into the same problem but not as often.
Yep we found a scout that owned the ocean we had to move so we would not crash.

I have a picture of some guy that got unbelievably close to me one time offshore. Never posted it because it was so hilariously bad and up close that i’m sure someone would have recognized him. Still have it, too. I just laugh and shake my head every time i see it in my old photos

Where exactly was this at out there in that huge blue ocean?

We were at the scarp and not many being caught. We scratched a weehoo and a black fin tuna. Lost a big hoo at the boat and one more nice on the planer. It was crazy with the number of boats. We fished away from the crowd, but they must think we are in a secret spot and would come over to where we were, so we went back to where they came from. Lol
It was a sight. 8:30 and there were 13 boats at Edisto Banks. There were people cutting each other off, pulling on top of each other like there was only one place with fish. Pretty day, but dang.
