4 questions canoe usage near Folly

1st:
Staying near 7th Ave. this Wed. thru Sun. We are on Copper Avenue. There is a small tidal creek here that I can ride out with high tide and with the timing get back before dark as tide turns. The creek comes out in front of Middle Cole Island. I do not want to cross over but stay on the ocean side where I come out. Is that a good location. I want to stay in mouth of the creek as it is coming out to main channel.

2nd:
The James Island County Park crabbing pier, can you put in a canoe there. Is that off the Stono?
I know I have to port it. Was planning on riding high tide back to the right further in the marsh area along that creek. Have crabbed from pier a lot, but few boats passing during my few times there. Also as tide fall, will travel back to the main channel and stay in the mouth area.
I stay in the mouth areas to stay out of the wind. Have an old Grumman Canoe (late 70’s) and it sits high like a big sail.

3rd:
Or do you know of a landing where I can stay in the creeks or at mouth from the main channel.

4th:
Or lastly anyone wanting a fishing buddy to help pay or pay for the gas?

Sorry in wrong section. Tried to delete and put in discussion.

TBD

Ive put my 16ft old town canoe in at the james island crabbing pier before. i used my dolly to roll it down there, then two people to get it turned and down the floating ramp. it wasnt the easiest, but not terrible. yes. it is in an inlet off the stono. ive had decent luck crabbing and trout fishing there.
