I got kicked out of work on Monday because I haven’t been released from my leg doctor yet, so I decided to take one of my best friends and his 4 year old son out for their first offshore excursion on the newly dubbed “Flight Risk” (thanks jay12clay). I didn’t know how well he’d do, so we planned for a short trip bottom bumping on a wreck about 15 miles offshore.
We only fished for about an hour and we caught 9 b-liners and hooked into several cudas. The little guys attention span was a little short, but he held up just fine and wants to go out again. It’s always fun seeing a little guy falling in love with fishing.
