Caught weak fish, blue fish, shark, and of coarse pin fish, no black sea bass it seems! Even managed to retreive the anchor!!! Bait fish all over.
What’s usually out there in earlly October? Looking to make my first run out there then (from Stono Inlet).
No spades? They may be gone for the year.
I don’t know whats there in October, be careful going out between kiawah and folly, can get a bit hairy, the channel is marked but it does get shallow at low tide.
Tight Lines
I know we catch a pretty good bit of sharks. Also as the water cools, the bigger bsb will start to move in. I don’t know if anyone is aware of it or not, but come november and december, there are some huge schools of bluefish that run nearshore. I guess they are migrating from the north to warmer water. Was out there bottom fishing last year and some a bunch of birds and comotion on the top of the water so we threw some spoons and caught some nice sized bluefish.
