deer season opened today, no one will be in the water and the fish will feel safe enough to show themselves so it should be great fishing!!
I’m seeing 2’ seas with SW5-10… if that’s true it should be a great trip to 4Ki

I caught a black sea bass on a strip of jelly ball 2 weeks ago at the nearshore reef. Not what I was looking for but thought it was funny. Those BSB will eat anything.

Ok. Spent the night on the boat behind Sullivan Friday night. Up at dawn lines out at the top of the south jetti. Wife got sick and didn’t get it fish for long. She has since been demoted from her recent promo to first mate. She is now restricted to beach walker. :). Nothing worse than cleaning a boat that only landed a 4 inch croaker. LOL.

When going offshore, I take the less drowsey motion sickness tablets. But for those not use to being in a boat, take one sea sick pill at dinner the night before going fishing, then take one in the morning before going on the boat. (taking one while on the boat or at the dock will be ineffective) She’ll be fine after that and can resume First Mate status.
