We had a great time and will definitely enter next year too. We tried to find a bigger Hoo to seal the deal on 1st but couldn’t get one bigger than 30#. Finished the day with 17 phins (15 gaffers)a hoo and a blackfin so we had a good day and it was for a great cause.

Even though we reached the dock 6 minutes late and gave up at least $4500 in prize money The Crew on the NO APOLOGIES had a blast. What a great weekend. We will be back next year and trust me unless the boat sinks we won’t be late next year. We weighed a 34 pound wahoo a 26 pound Blackfin and the 8 pound Dolphin “the smallest we had”. Even with the crew being disappointed about being late they all are ready to do it again next year, What a great tournament and a great cause.

My son and I fished the tournement on fri. 2 man crew on the Destiny witch caused some rodeos. just way we like it. Caught a bunch of mahi brought six home for eats.
Had a decent day except for the allusive black fin couldn’t find one but not for lack of trying. Burnt 168gals trying LOL.
weighed a 25lb whoo my son’t first ever and a 22 dolphin. Not in the money but since it was my last trip with my son as he left for the army this morning. it was a great trip and tourney.
I’m gonna miss my fishing buddy
Sorry for the guys who were late, that sucks, we hit the docks at 1705, had 55 min to spare so wished we had pushed it a little longer at the ledge and picked up that BF guess my boat ran us in alot faster than i figured it would, Contenders rule!
