vinegar?

21 Contender

yep…if you use a hot sauce then the vinegar in it might work fine…otherwise just a little bit of white vinegar is supposed to help prevent the nut from sticking to the shell, plus it adds a little kick to the boil! Happy birthday America!

Careful with those Platinums and Lime-a-ritas. They will sneak up on you in a hurry!

The Lime-A-Ritas are a little stiff at 8%, but Platinum’s only 4.2%. Not a problem when you train with real beer.

It’s also terrible - awfully sweet. I don’t think I could even bring myself to try a Lime-A-Rita.

Yeah, I’m a beer snob.

Capn, I passed right by your ship in the creek this weekend. Nice looking vessel.

pretty sure the Platinum i tried was 6% or so. Unfortunately i am at work and not looking at a bottle of anything, so i can’t verify.

Ha! Not my boat, but it is where I got the name oh so many years ago. Grew up with the family boat at the old Shem Creek Marina, so we passed by that shrimp boat many times. When it came time to get my first email address in '92 or '93, I chose that for some reason. It stuck.

I was wrong, and you are correct. It is 6% ABV. Serves me right for not reading the chart more carfully.

It’s still awful, though.

Nice. I thought I was seeing a (**() celebrity. Thanks for the let down! Speaking of Celebrities, anyone know who owns that nice ass house on the corner of Shem creek there?
