Great weekend of fishing. Fished both incoming and out going high tides stared with a popping cork and mud minnows along with a Carolina Rig. Couldn’t hook the fish to save my life on the popping cork . So decided to switch to a slip bobber and it was game on with the trout, caught numerous amounts and kept a total of 4 trout along with 3 reds. Did manage my second tagged red which measured 32" and weighed 14lbs. I have fished fresh water for a lot of years and have found nothing to compare to the fight the bull reds give. The closest is Northern Pike and fresh water salmon in the rivers.
