5-1 Bulls Bay (Late Post)

I started my day fishing the rising tide (11am) and chasing small schools of reds pushing up the flats. This did not last long though, A******S kept flying buy, tearing up the water and tossing me around like a rag doll. I finally got tired of hanging on for dear life, resetting my equipment, and reloacating the schools. I ended up catching 2 fish, neither of which were over 20".
I would really like to find somebody who could make bumper/window stickers that are similar to the “share the road” that bikers have becuase this is a very similar situation. We have just as much right to the waterway and you certainly do not blow by cyclist on the road, so what makes it ok to blow by a yakker??? “Share the Water”</font id=“size5”>
After that, i fished for a few hours with not so much as a bite. I tried everything from live, artifical, and cut. Nothing. However, right after the tide changed the trout and blues lit up. I ended up with 7 trout and a bunch of half eaten plastics. (all released)

Please be considerate and slow down when passing a kayaker.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”>

Wow nice fish… as far as slowing down I have had the exact opposite problem… people see me and slow down and than I have a HUGE wake to deal with… normally, unless it a big “V” hull, if they stay on plane the wake is really managable and not very big… I had an about 23ft KeyWest CC go by me on plane and barely felt the wake… Doubt he saw me though, later I had a 14ft john boat slow down and I thougth I was gonna tip over… I guess I have just been lucky…

Paddle faster boys… I hear banjo music!
