Started the day trolling south of the 226 but didn’t get many knock down and only managed one good fish. At one point we had what we think was a wahoo but it broke free before too long. Around noon we stopped trolling and headed in for some dives. We managed some gags, a huge flounder, and a cooler full of 5lb+ sheepshead. With the fish box full we went down and pull some old anchors and called it a day. It’s nice having the water warm enough to dive in a 3mil again.
The flounder was a female at just over 25". I didn’t have a scale but fillets from the top side were almost 2" thick so it had to be pretty hefty. I stuck it in the sand in about 62’ of water. Our biggest sheeps were over 8lbs. There were so many out there we had our pick of the best.

Great job!
Thanks for the report and pics.
And OBTW Capt. Morgan, I do believe I have that same exact dive knife.
I’ve never been able to get the straps to hold on my leg though.
Sorry for the delay guys but here are two of the three videos…first video is a Mahi coming in…second one is of some Dolphin (mammal) in front of the boat. The third video I am having trouble with since its such a large file and my computer cant handle it. Hopefully ill have some kill shots in a day or so. It was a great day on the water!
