Left the creek at 4am, droppd lines short of the hole, picked up a blackfin right off the bat. Pretty soon we were covered up with Dolphin. Caught 12 by 10am, ran to the stoopid hole and caught another 12 before heading for the hill. Biggst was 30#. Plotting the temp breaks on java with hotspots paid off big time. Special thanks to my wife who allowed me to eat dinner with her after showing up 1.5 hrs late for our 10th anny celebrated at Red Drum. Great way to start of the year. Sharp hooks and tight lines!
