I’m planning to head out Wed for some dolphin. Not a super early start or anything but either running straight out or south, depending on the SSTs. Anybody else going to be out there with me or do I get all the weed lines and shipping containers to myself?
We will be out there. Probably headed south as well.
Not going but please give us a report. Headed out Fri or most likely Sat out of Bluffton.

Was planning on it but just pulled the plug. Swell has doubled since yesterday with no wind. 3.5’ @ 6 seconds will be a slow go with it coming from 125 degrees.
Last minute check in the AM just in case it turns.
Courtland what are you reading? It looks pretty darn good. 3 at 9 out of SW.
Going Southish towards 226 with Got2Go, NorthChucky, myself, and Kari (for luck).

It was weird today…ran out of edisto and there was no wind. looked like it was going to be a great ride out and hit 85 foot or so and the swell was picking up…by the time we got to 100 feet it was big and a few combers… Decided to tuck tail and head back inshore some. Pulled on AJ’s all day and mix of bottom fish…heard a pon pon go off for a capsized 32 footer with a crew member in the water 2 hours later…then was canceled shortly after… Not sure exactly what happened but glad I made the call to not ride all the way out
Headed towards 226.

Left at 11. Fished 90’ and it was finally right. Warm, clean and green. Pretty heavy current and tons of grass, trash and trees in 60-80’. The fish bit well though.
Fished the 226 in the morning and it was dead dead so we pushed out another 15 miles and found a floating dock with NOTHING on it. Finally pushed back in and found a handful of fish in 160-180. Also caught a 20lb gag on the ledge on jigs.
Slow day really, radio was very chatty with people looking for anything that would bite. Lots of boats had bingo.
