Message Preview - Ledge Fishing
Left House at 3:30 AM from reevesville about hour ride from charleston. Left the docks at 4:57. Pretty rough ride out the harbor in the pitch black dark. Thank god for GPS. I dont know how they did it years ago. Water got smoother as we got out. Headed straight for the ledge. Picked up about 5 maui there then started trolling back in. Ran up on a floating log. Picked up 3 maui on a spoon and some squid of the side of the boat with a little bait caster. Got a good picture of one maui putting on a show for us. Came in and bottom fished for a little while. Overall a great day in the water. 9 maui, 5 sea bass. 1 King. 2 snapper.
