Friend from College bought a trip on just one more at the CCA banquet. Several of us chipped in and went and take another friend from College’s 12 year old son for his first trip offshore. Wanted the first time to be on a big boat to have the best experience possible.
We had a fish on pretty quick and wouldn’t you know the 12 year old landed his first fish that was the biggest of the day. A 34 lb bull dolphin on the scales. Dad’s probably still pissed I suggested it was worthy of mounting 
We continued on and picked up a Wahoo next that was a little shy of 20 lbs. Continued to pick up some good Dolphin and a few BFT to complete the meatfish slam. Then the 12 year old lands the second biggest fish of the day with a Bull pushing 30 lbs. Didn’t weigh him but he was very close. Then we had a Wahoo start spooling a 30 good and we got him in the boat too for #2 on the Hoo for the day. He was a solid 25 lbs maybe better.
Ended the day with 20 Nice dolphin (threw a few slingers back to grow) 3 BFT and 2 nice Wahoo.

Had a great time and Kenny and Glenn were great to fish with. It was a donated trip to the CCA by the owner and his crew so you can’t ask for a better way to raise some money, have some fun and probably get a kid hooked on offshore fishing. I got 8 1/2 minutes of great footage of his first fish catch and some great pics of him with his fish. Don’t want to post without parents saying it’s OK though. I will also say that the owner and crew keep this boat in absolute beautiful condition. I have fished on a lot of SF boats and this one
