Trolled after 5 PM and found a large school of fish and caught over 25 with 3 good keepers and 4 that measured if you pinched the tail. WE just kept the 3 legits. We made a few passes and lost the school. All the fish I cleaned were full of white perch. Did someone say a “herring bite” was on?
A friend of mine had 2 last weekend with white perch in their belly.
I know guys jig’em up in the colder months and I have caught a few while bream fishing before, but does anyone know how to specifically target them this time of year? I’ve used bream in the past, but never have tried any white perch. Sounds like it’s time to give it a try.
Where is “Crystal Lake”? Is it on Lake Murray and if so, could some one give me a general area? I know certain landmarks like the Dam, Bomb Island, Jakes, the swimming beach and pasture and the furtherest I have gone is the gap area.
Thanks for any help
