pushed deep looking for the clean edge on the other side of all that green water and found it near 226 hole in 1200ft. scattered weedlines and rips with lots of bait and a slow pick of dolphin and 1 big skippy (like 1 fish per hour) trolling around and out beyond sounder range. gave up on the deep around 1 even though it looked great and headed towards the ledge to try for tuna and hoos for a bit but on the way in around 600ft SE of the Outcrop we ran into a nice finger of blue at 76F with nice mats of weeds on it. put out a mixed spread of 5 lines since we had pulled in the riggers and had a fish hit the bonita within 5 minutes. we left them biting there just after 4pm, after a couple doubles and a triple. sure wish we had found that rip before riding another 15miles out but oh well we did find em just late. ended with 8 phins and the big skippy
