Made it out in the new to me dog house and the crew punched some fish in the face. Caught 17 nice dolphin down south beyond the ledge. Thanks to Swamp Angel and the crew who kept her rigged out all day for the maiden voyage. The heavier rig ran great without any pounding. Beautiful day on the ocean.

Got to love a boat with more beer holders than rod holders. Enjoyed the ride. Wouldhave caught something with a beak if puxatawny p would have just come out that cabin and seen his shadow. His signature marlin dance was missing from the deck

yeah scoutin. the scout did me well but got her sold and bumped up to a 31’ 2004 GW Marlin/400 hrs 225 yams two weeks ago that was being given away down south. she drinks some gas but is a solid 25-30mph ride in tough conditions if saturday morning’s head swell can be considered tough. she sits nice as well in the h2o at the marina and soon to be in tarpon holes with that generator/ac stuff. ask me again in 5 years.

Yea, I know all about that. The scout was just big enough to get us to the gulfstream and crack the door to blue water fishing. The 31s make it MUCH more enjoyable. The operating costs do go up quite a bit but so will your catch. You won’t regret it.
Now if I could only figure out a way to get into a 50 plus foot Sporty.
