5/17

I usually don’t get a chance to fish much and therefore very rarely post, but seeing as how this is a particularly rough year I figure why not. Left Toler’s at 4:30 to an unexpected and brutal ride out. Made it to Edisto Banks about 7:00 and put out the high speed stuff. Didnt see any action and didn’t want to waste the morning bite so picked up and headed to 226. Got half way there and found some weeds. Put out the spread and had a double almost instantly. 2 fish in the box at 8:15, this could be a good day… No more action till we found a nice rip and decent line around 240. Slowly picked at them all day. Ended with seven and lost four. All on green/yellow or blue white, wire, and on a 76-78 temp break. Biggest was around 30.

Thanks for posting your trip. What size boat were you fishing?

The stream was out there:

26’ Grady White called Reel Livin. I thought abought pushing out further but hadn’t heard any chatter about better results.
